Why We Built This Site
Alabama provides broad access to public records under Alabama Code § 36-12-40, subject to statutes, court rules, and valid court orders that restrict access. Finding the correct Mobile County record custodian is still essential. Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
